What You’ll Do:- Serve as an integral member of the health services team.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services of residents to ensure their needs are met.
- Monitor and maintain resident records.
- Assure that proper systems, policies, and procedures are followed correctly.
- Conduct evaluations of staff performance of delegated nursing services in coordination with the Director of Nursing through appropriate documentation and consistent with policies.
- Promote a positive, team approach and a healthy work environment.
- Recognize and manage common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory, and pain problems.
- Communicate any changes in residents' needs or conditions to physicians and other personnel, facilitating the coordination of resident services with other providers.
- Supervise medication practices and the use of medical equipment within the facility.
- Current MN license as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one year experience assisted living, preferred.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to self‑start and follow through with initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Exhibits a caring heart with a passion for caring for the elderly.
- Possesses good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using a resident record computerized system.
