Unit Manager Registered Nurse

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical and operational leadership within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The Unit Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of their assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff support.

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care on the assigned unit.
• Clinical review of referrals and admissions to ensure appropriate placement and care planning.
• Ensure resident care plans are implemented and updated accurately.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments to maintain adequate coverage.
• Conduct clinical rounds and review documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support infection control, quality assurance, and survey readiness efforts.
• Participate in performance evaluations, staff education, and corrective actions when needed.

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in long-term care or post-acute setting.
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
