We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Project Controls Director to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.
What You’ll Deliver
- Lead the Project Controls function across a major pharmaceutical CAPEX programme, providing strategic oversight of cost, schedule, forecasting, earned value, risk and change management.
- Integrate cost, schedule, forecasting and earned value into a single view of project performance, enabling senior leadership to understand where the project is against its baseline and drive informed decision-making.
- Develop and deliver executive-level reporting, providing clear insights into project performance, key risks, forecast outcomes and recovery strategies to senior stakeholders.
- Drive leadership, accountability and continuous improvement across the Project Controls team, challenging contractors and project teams where necessary to improve project performance and delivery.
- Partner with Engineering, Construction, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure robust project controls governance, accurate forecasting and successful delivery through construction, commissioning and operational readiness.
What you’ll need
- Proven Project Controls leadership experience on pharmaceutical manufacturing CAPEX projects.
- Experience managing Project Controls across the full project lifecycle, from project setup through engineering, construction, forecasting, commissioning and close-out.
- Strong expertise in cost control, scheduling, forecasting, earned value, risk and change management.
- Advanced experience with Primavera P6 and SAP (or equivalent ERP/cost management systems).
- Proven ability to integrate cost, schedule and earned value into executive-level reporting and project performance metrics
