Our client is one of the largest and most respected mechanical contractors in the United States, delivering some of the country's most complex commercial, healthcare, industrial, advanced manufacturing and mission critical projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

- Lead all aspects of mechanical construction projects from award through completion.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, billings, cash flow and overall financial performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure field operations remain on schedule and within budget.
- Review contract documents and identify project risks and opportunities.
- Manage procurement of equipment and major mechanical packages.
- Prepare, negotiate and manage change orders.
- Lead project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Partner with estimating, VDC, prefabrication and commissioning teams throughout project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest quality standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a mechanical or HVAC contractor.
- Experience managing large commercial mechanical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems.
- Excellent financial management, budgeting and forecasting skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6 and related construction software is beneficial.
