Senior Construction Owners Representative

The Opportunity

As the Senior Owner’s Representative, you will act as the developer’s lead representative throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing major data center developments from initial planning through design, construction, commissioning, and handover.

You will be responsible for safeguarding project objectives, managing stakeholder relationships, driving schedule performance, and ensuring the successful delivery of mission critical facilities that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner’s primary representative on large-scale data center developments.
• Lead project execution from concept and preconstruction through construction and turnover.
• Manage and coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive project schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and risk management initiatives.
• Monitor design progress and ensure alignment with development objectives.
• Oversee construction activities, quality assurance, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Provide executive-level reporting on project status, budget, risks, and milestones.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams, tenants, service providers, and development partners.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience representing owners, developers, or investors on complex capital projects.
• Strong experience with mission critical, data center, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial developments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams.
• Deep understanding of construction delivery methods, contracts, project controls, and commissioning processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel as projects require.

Preferred Experience

• Data center, hyperscale, or digital infrastructure project experience.
• Experience with projects exceeding $100M+ in value.
• Knowledge of MEP-intensive environments and critical systems.
• Experience working directly for an owner, developer, or developer's representative organization.
