Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Site Manager

Elford is expanding our team and looking for an experienced Project Manager who is open to traveling to projects across our growing markets.

In this role, you’ll lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while partnering closely with the Superintendent, project team, trade partners, and client. We’re looking for someone who knows how to manage the details, communicate clearly, and keep a project moving—without losing sight of the people involved.

Projects may be located throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and other markets based on business and client needs.

• Manage projects from planning and preconstruction through completion and closeout
• Lead project budgets, schedules, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Manage contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, procurement, and project documentation
• Partner with the Superintendent to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and production goals
• Lead owner and subcontractor meetings and provide clear project updates
• Identify potential risks and develop solutions before they affect the project
• Support and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and trade partners

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
• Five or more years of commercial construction experience
• Previous experience managing projects for a general contractor
• Willingness and ability to travel based on project assignments
• Strong knowledge of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and construction operations
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, P6, Microsoft Project, or similar construction technology
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license

Experience in healthcare, multifamily, education, commercial, industrial, or interior construction is a plus.
