Cable Infrastructure Engineer JNY with Security Clearance

Summary:

We are looking for a Cable Infrastructure Engineer Journeyman. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

* Are required to solve technical engineering problems relating to secure and non-secure voice, video, data, and radio frequency cable infrastructure.
* Developing and maintaining IT wiring diagrams.
* Solving issues related to cables and networks.
* Testing and terminating cables.
* Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
* Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
* Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
* Must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of designing complex cable plans for telecommunication systems, including the layout structures for equipment installations, as well as expanding existing cabling systems.
* Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines.
* Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently.
* Structured problem solving.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree in a STEM field or equivalent years of related experience.
* At least 3 - 5 years of related experience.
