Substance Use Therapist (LADC) Opportunity
Cumberland Hall Hospital is a 97‑bed, licensed, acute psychiatric hospital located in beautiful Hopkinsville, KY. It features individual units for youth, adults and active duty military, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average over 1500 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year.
Make a meaningful impact as a Substance Use Therapist (LADC) at Cumberland Hall Hospital, providing compassionate, evidence‑based support to individuals on their recovery journey within a collaborative and patient‑centered team.
Job Duties- Completing and maintaining all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.
- Assessing patient needs regularly and assisting in developing and updating the Master Treatment Plan.
- Working within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
- Providing group educational therapies to assigned patients consistent with established techniques and methods relevant to the professional literature.

- Education:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or Social Services related field required. - Experience:
Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting. - Licenses/Certificates:
Must be licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in Kentucky or hold a Kentucky‑recognized drug and alcohol certification. - Schedule:
Typical working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
