Role overviewWe are looking for a
Mid-Level System Field Engineer
to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructures across customer environments. As part of your professional development, you will receive hands-on training on leading enterprise cybersecurity technologies while working with servers, virtualization, operating systems, and networking solutions. You’ll contribute to real-world infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, helping deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environments for our customers. - Receive training and hands-on experience on enterprise security platforms and solutions.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of security platforms under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for security-related infrastructure components as part of integrated IT and cybersecurity projects.
- Support and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory administration, Group Policy (GPO) management, and DNS/DHCP services.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of server infrastructure (physical and virtual).
- Apply system hardening best practices and support patch management and system updates.
- Participate in incident troubleshooting, identifying and resolving system and connectivity issues.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support as part of field engineering operations.
- Perform infrastructure health checks and basic performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement infrastructure improvements and operational best practices.
- Support customer deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure migrations.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of networking components, ensuring reliable connectivity and correct TCP/IP operation across systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networks, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in system administration, IT support, or infrastructure-focused roles (field experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of Windows-based environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and basic routing.
- Ability to troubleshoot system and network connectivity issues in production environments.
- Hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and customer stakeholders, both onsite and remotely.
- Microsoft valid certifications (or willingness to pursue them).
