The Cyber Security Technical Consultant (Architecture Specialist) will design and implement secure architectures for enterprise systems, networks, and cloud environments. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic advisory capabilities to help organizations build resilient, scalable, and compliant security frameworks. The consultant will ensure that security is embedded into every layer of the technology stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop end-to-end security architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Define security controls for network segmentation, identity management, and data protection.
  • Create reference architectures aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Assess architectural risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Evaluate and integrate security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, EDR, IAM, encryption solutions).
  • Provide architectural guidance during digital transformation projects.
  • Develop security blueprints and roadmaps for enterprise adoption.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Proven experience in security architecture design and consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of network and cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Zero Trust principles and implementation.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks: SABSA, TOGAF, NIST CSF.
  • Certifications:

    CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Knowledge of security automation and orchestration.
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure technical designs.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
