Job Description

Your mission

You will be responsible for ensuring material availability for current customer orders and future demand, acting as a critical interface between multiple functions (Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Production, Service & Supply Chain).

You will support operations across multiple production sites, global warehouses, and international customers, with a direct impact on customer satisfaction and equipment uptime.

Key responsibilities
  • Backlog & Operations Management
  • Analyze order backlog and associated BOM requirements
  • Secure material availability for customer orders
  • Anticipate shortages, risks, and delivery constraints
  • Prioritize orders based on business impact and customer commitments
  • Drive cross-functional issue resolution
  • Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, backlog health, shortages, aging orders)
Demand Planning & Inventory
  • Support demand forecasting based on data and installed base
  • Optimize inventory levels and service performance
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory turns
Spare Parts & Lifecycle Management
  • Define and manage inventory & safety stock strategies across warehouses
  • Reduce obsolescence and complexity
  • Support standardization and part rationalization initiatives
  • Manage part lifecycle (changes, substitutions, EOL, last-time buy)
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Sales, and Service teams
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong analytical mindset & data-driven decision making
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a global environment
  • Solid experience in supply chain, planning, or operations
  • Customer-oriented with understanding of equipment uptime challenges
Technical skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • ERP system knowledge
  • Power BI / data analysis tools
  • Experience in forecasting & inventory optimization
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus
