position summarythe christian county public schools police department supports and facilitates the educational process within the christian county public schools. School resource officers (sros) are responsible for building security and proactively interacting with staff, students, and parents. They also enforce local, state, and federal laws, investigate crimes, maintain public order, prevent and detect criminal activity, and protect life and property.
qualifications / requirements- high school diploma or ged required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- perform various law enforcement activities that involve significant physical demands such as lifting, running, carrying, bending, climbing, and the ability to subdue offenders.
