At littleborough, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. We are seeking a creative, nurturing, and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while fostering each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

Qualifications- EEC Pre-K Teacher Certification required
- Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K classroom required
- Availability during our operating hours (7:00 AM-6:00 PM)
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality early childhood education
- Passion for play-based learning and building positive relationships with children and families
- Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming classroom environment while providing direct supervision of children.
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports play-based learning and aligns with littleborough's educational philosophy.
- Observe, document, and communicate children's growth, milestones, and progress in accordance with EEC regulations.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and program leadership to support children's individual needs and classroom success.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers through clear, respectful communication.
- Develop daily schedules that balance indoor and outdoor play, quiet and active experiences, fine and gross motor activities, and opportunities for social-emotional growth.
- Support children's independence, curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Model positive behavior and guide children using developmentally appropriate practices.
- Maintain compliance with all EEC licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
