Mechatronics Engineer I
Seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis. The Mechatronics Engineer 1 will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting integrated electromechanical systems. This role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles. The position will involve travel between our Boston and Hopkinton sites.
Duration: 2+ month contract with high possibilities of extension
Location:
Hopkinton, MA (100% onsite)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer
- Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, and control system design
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and test mechatronic systems and components
- Develop control systems and algorithms for automated equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing mechatronic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
- Document designs, processes, and test results
- Travel between Boston and Hopkinton sites as needed
