Overview
Solect Energy is a leading provider of solar and energy storage solutions for businesses, schools, cities, towns, and nonprofits in the Northeast. Based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Solect is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pattern Energy Group.
Our Operations & Maintenance team serves more than 700 customers, maintaining a 99% renewal rate each year.
Responsibilities- AR collections and related activities.
- Customer and vendor research.
- AR invoicing and revenue tracking; AP subcontract status tracking (retainage, billed vs. contract).
- Special projects as assigned.
- Managing high-volume collections while maintaining professional customer relationships.
- Coordinating across multiple departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Adapting quickly to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
- BA/AS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting or finance experience.
- Experience with AR collections and/or AP processes.
The expected starting pay range for this role is $62,000 - $89,000 annually USD. This range is an estimate, and base pay may vary based on location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees at all levels.
