Job Description
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Assembler candidates in the Hopkinton, MA area. This position assembles products partially or completely at a bench or on the shop floor and performs in‑process/final checks per quality procedures; records results; escalates issues and makes corrections as directed.
LocationHopkinton, Massachusetts
Responsibilities- Read and follow work instructions, routings, process sheets, and specs.
- Identify, obtain, and stage proper materials; understand assembly sequence.
- Set up and operate automatic/semi‑automatic assembly equipment and common hand tools.
- Assemble components to quality standards while meeting efficiency targets.
- Perform in‑process/final checks per quality procedures; record results; escalates issues and makes corrections as directed.
- Perform secondary operations: marking, packing, labeling.
- Maintain accurate records: inventory usage, inspection check sheets, labor cards, change notices.
- High school diploma/GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic assembly and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate assembly equipment and use common hand tools.
- Language: read/comprehend instructions, specs, job aids; communicate clearly in small groups/one‑on‑one.
- Math: add/subtract/multiply/divide; fractions/decimals; compute rate/ratio/percent; interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning: follow written/oral/diagrammed instructions; solve standard problems with several concrete variables.
- Strong hand‑eye coordination; high attention to detail; initiative/self‑motivation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
