Job Description:

• Aerospace Company is looking for a Machinist 1 to support our production department. This position will serve on-site at Hopkinton, MA.

Responsibilities

• Cut copper waveguide on chop saw, de-burr waveguide, and apply braze stop to waveguide.
• Operates a variety of machine tools such milling machines, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
• Fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required.
• Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

Basic Qualifications for Machinist 1:

• High school or technical school diploma with minimum 1 year experience in a machine shop environment.
• Ability to sit or stand for 2 hours at a time and lift 50 pounds
