Chipton-Ross is seeking a Machinist 1 for a contract opportunity in Hopkinton, MA. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- High school or technical school diploma with minimum 1 year experience in a machine shop environment.
Looking for a Machinist 1 to support our production department.
- Cut copper waveguide on chop saw, de-burr waveguide, and apply braze stop to waveguide.
- Operates a variety of machine tools such milling machines, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
- Fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required.
- Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
- Silver torch brazing experience.
- Ability to sit or stand for 2 hours at a time and lift 50 pounds.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- School must be accredited.
- Full-Time 9/80 workweek. This position will serve on-site at Hopkinton, MA.
