Network Deployment Build Mgr, GND AMER; AWS

Amazon Data Services, Inc. looks for a motivated and experienced Network Deployment Build Manager to join our Global Network Delivery team. In this role you will lead a team of Network Builders, collaborating with internal customers, vendors and regional colleagues to deliver high‑quality network infrastructure deployments across new and existing AWS regions.

This position is a technical leadership role that balances project management responsibilities with hands‑on oversight of network installation work. You will manage the delivery of rack splits, venue plans, inventory, and PR/PO processes while ensuring alignment with AWS standards and timelines.

• Experience delivering results for large, cross‑functional initiatives or continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Application of network design, including knowledge of major routing protocols, topology design, network hardware, device configuration, and traffic engineering.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

• 6+ years of infrastructure or networking experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of network engineering and deployments for large‑scale corporate networks, including hands‑on physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking, and cabling.
• Experience in project management, resource planning, schedule management, and reporting project status across multiple projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with experience in stakeholder management. Vendor management experience preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $96,900.00–$ USD annually, with additional compensation through sign‑on payments and restricted stock units.
