We are seeking a driven individual to play a key role in our business development efforts. In this hunter-style position, the focus is on identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This role is instrumental in forming strategic partnerships that support growth and expand our presence in the market. This is a hybrid role, must be able to commute to the Horsham, PA twice a week.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Develop tailored proposals and strategic solutions that align with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Lead negotiations and close partnership agreements that support long-term business goals.
  • Represent the company in all business interactions, effectively communicating our value proposition and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Project Management, Medical, Sourcing, Logistics, and Proposals to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed based on market conditions.
  • Drive the onboarding process for new clients, including NDAs, new customer forms, and MSAs.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to inform business development strategies.
  • Actively promote Ancillare as a leader in clinical trial ancillary supply chain management and educate prospects on our unique value in the marketplace.
  • Support client retention and satisfaction through ongoing engagement and regular status meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business development or operational delivery, with a proven track record of success.
  • At least 3 years of experience identifying, engaging, and securing new clients through strategic, results-driven approaches.
  • Strong industry knowledge; existing relationships within pharma, biotech, or clinical supply are a significant plus.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly desirable.
