Sofidel America isseekingan experienced and strategic Director of Sales, Ecommerce, to join our Horsham, PA office.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Sales, Ecommerce to coordinate &leadecommerce sales initiatives across private label, B2B, and retail ecommerce channels, driving revenue growth and strengthening customer partnerships.
- Develop and lead the ecommerce sales strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and market share across private label, B2B, and retail ecommerce accounts.
- Own senior level customer relationships with key retail ecommerce partners, marketplaces, and private label decision makers.
- Create and execute joint business plans that support retailer growth objectives, category expansion, assortment optimization, promotional calendars, and pricing alignment.
- Lead private label business development efforts, including identifying growth opportunities, supporting line reviews, and developing customer specific growth strategies.
- Analyze sales performance, digital shelf trends, category insights, retailer scorecards, and competitive activity toidentifyrisks and opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure successful execution of new product launches, retailer transitions, promotional events, inventory planning, and customer programs.
- Lead customer negotiations related to pricing, trade investment, annual planning, and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Monitor online assortment, content quality, availability, and conversion drivers to improve retailer performance and the digital shopper experience.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to team members and cross functional contributors supporting ecommerce and private label growth.
- Build strong internal alignment with Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations to supportaccurateforecasting and operational execution.
- Present business updates, forecasts, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, ora related field.
- Seven or more years of progressive sales or account management experience.
- Three or more years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, retail sales, or omnichannel leadership.
- Proven success managing strategic retail customer relationships and delivering revenue growth within aconsumer-packaged goods or private label environment.
- Strong experience in joint business planning, category strategy, forecasting, pricing, trade management, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and influence decisions across commercial, category, and operational teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to support customer meetings, line reviews, business reviews, and internal planning sessions.
