Purpose:
The Learning Designer is responsible for executing approved learning designs and developing high-quality learning assets that support business and learner outcomes. Reporting to the Lead Architect, this role translates solution blueprints and design direction into structured learner experiences through instructional design, content development, content curation, assessment creation, and iterative refinement across a range of modalities.
Working within the Learning Solutions team, the Learning Designer applies instructional design expertise to produce clear, engaging, and practical learning materials aligned to defined objectives, audience needs, and delivery requirements. This role partners closely with the Lead Architect, Digital Experience Designer, business-facing colleagues, subject matter experts, and other contributors to incorporate feedback, finalize materials, and ensure learning solutions are development-ready and fit for purpose.

- Support updates and revisions to existing learning products in response to business changes, stakeholder feedback, content reviews, or evolving capability needs
- Contribute to internal design operations by maintaining templates, design documentation, asset organization, and other materials that support efficient and consistent delivery
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, or contractors as needed in the development or revision of learning materials
- Participate in team knowledge sharing, design reviews, and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen instructional quality and ways of working across Learning Solutions
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Required;
Advanced Degree Desirable - A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience is required. Agency, Consulting, and/or Life Sciences experience is preferred.
- Strong grounding in instructional design principles and adult learning practices, with the ability to apply them in the creation of effective, engaging, and well-structured learning experiences
- Demonstrated ability to translate high-level design direction into detailed learning assets, including storyboards, scripts, activities, assessments, facilitator materials, and learner-facing content
- Ability to create knowledge checks, performance-based activities, practice opportunities, and reinforcement mechanisms aligned to learning objectives
