What You'll Do:
- Provide behavioral support supervision to RBT's & IA's working with elementary-aged students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities
- Provide consultation and training to classroom staff and other educators, administrators and families related to ABA
- Provide services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
About Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS):
DESS provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education population.
Qualifications- Masters degree in education, psychology or related field required
- Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in PA required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing positive behavior support plans
