Position Type: Full-time with HCLTech
Location: Horsham, PA
Role/Responsibilities- Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 10 Years of experience in Design and Development.
- Should be familiar with plumbing system design using standard and custom components used in high purity gas and wet chemical processing equipment (valves, fittings, etc.)
- Mechanical engineering expertise, while focusing on design quality, reliability, effective cost, and ease of manufacturing
- Experience in Package plumbing components per P&g and Instrumentation Diagram (P&) using standards and procedures.
- Define mechanical design specifications based on customer requirements and company capabilities
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years Solid Works experience and well versed with AutoCAD.
- Should be skilled in standard drafting practices in Solid Works, including part detailing and tolerancing (ANSI Y14).
- Experience in Engineering change management and release process
- Provide “hands on” assistance and support to the manufacturing team
- Ability to read and understand Plumbing and Instrumentation Diagram’s (P&)
- Experience in designing equipment used in a cleanroom environment a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Excel.
- Should have experience in using Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP or similar MRP systems.
- Education requirements:
AAS Mechanical Engineering curriculum with applicable industry experience, BSME preferred. - Design development and Drawing release.
- Package plumbing components per P&g and Instrumentation Diagram (P&) using standards and procedures.
- Generate and modify Bill of Materials.
- Interface with operations and electrical, process and software engineering.
- Communicate and give direction to manufacturing personnel during build process.
- Continually develop design standards to increase efficiency of the design and build processes.
- Produce clear and accurate documentation in a timely manner.
- Must adhere to various industry standards.
Pay Range Minimum: $37.01 per hour
Pay Range Maximum: $55 per hour

Compensationand Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
