Delta Information Systems, Inc., is looking for an FPGA Engineer with RF communications and DSP background to perform a variety of design and development tasks related to our telemetry products such as our telemetry RF receiver. Knowledge of digital modulations such as PCM/FM, SOQPSK, and FECs such as LDPC and Viterbi are desired.

This position is to be filled onsite in Horsham, PA.

• Design and debug of DSP/FPGA circuits related to Telemetry designs. This involves working with Marketing/Engineering departments to develop a specification, MATLAB modeling, schematic generation, FPGA simulation and design, overseeing the PCB design, board debug, troubleshooting and system integration.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in product development utilizing digital signal processing. Lesser experience will be considered if experience is directly related to RF signal processing in receivers.
• Experience with FPGA, AD / DA converters
• FPGA Simulation and MATLAB experience
• Embedded C/C++, Qt software experience a plus
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment
• Must be U.S. Citizens – this position will be working directly on a contract with the U.S. Government, which requires all employees performing these functions be U.S. Citizens. This position is contingent on the applicant providing proof of U.S. Citizenship.
