Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician builds and integrates complex capital equipment, ensuring every system meets strict precision, quality, and reliability standards. In this role, you execute detailed mechanical, electrical, and fluid system installations based on engineering drawings, diagnose and resolve integration, wiring, and fitment issues, and collaborate closely with engineering on continuous product and process improvements. You maintain accurate documentation and work in partnership with engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams to support high-performance manufacturing in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
+ Build and integrate complex capital equipment in accordance with detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Perform mechanical, electrical, and fluid system installations, ensuring all components are assembled and aligned correctly.
+ Read and interpret CAD models, Solid Works designs, and schematics to guide assembly and integration activities.
+ Diagnose and resolve integration, wiring, and fitment issues during equipment build and installation.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on systems and subassemblies to restore functionality and reliability.
+ Collaborate closely with engineering on continuous product and process improvement initiatives.
+ Partner with quality and other cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets precision, quality, and reliability requirements.
+ Maintain accurate build, integration, and troubleshooting documentation throughout the equipment lifecycle.
+ Use SAP or other ERP systems to document work, track components, and support manufacturing processes.
+ Adhere to procedures and standards required in regulated manufacturing environments such as semiconductor, aerospace, or medical device.
Essential Skills
+ 2-5+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as semiconductor, aerospace, or medical device.
+ Hands-on experience with manufacturing, assembly, and integration of complex equipment or systems.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics.
+
Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD tools for understanding designs and assemblies.
+ Proficiency in working with mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems in a production or manufacturing setting.
+ Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems used in manufacturing operations.
+ Ability to work closely with engineering and quality teams in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision, quality, and reliability in all work.

Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
+ Experience in continuous improvement activities and supporting process enhancements.
+ Comfort with interpreting complex schematics and technical documentation.
+ Ability to maintain clear, accurate documentation of builds, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
+ Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering, quality, and other teams.
Work Environment
This role is based in a regulated manufacturing environment focused on complex capital equipment, where precision, quality, and reliability are critical. The position offers openings on both 1st and 2nd shifts, with 1st shift running from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 2nd shift running from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. You work closely with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams, using tools such as CAD and ERP systems like SAP to support production.
The environment emphasizes adherence to established procedures and standards typical of semiconductor, aerospace, and medical device manufacturing.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Horsham, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
