Success Mortgage Partners is looking for a full-time loan officer assistant that will help applicants be mortgage ready and support them throughout the loan process. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented professionals driven to succeed in their role.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Act as the main liaison, providing updates and guidance to borrowers from application to closing.
- Documentation & Processing: Collect, review, and organize loan documentation (income, asset, credit reports) for accuracy and compliance.
- Pipeline Management: Support the MLO with pipeline organization, ensuring files are completed efficiently.
- Administrative & Marketing: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and assist with marketing campaigns to help grow the loan officer's business.
- Pre-Approval Assistance: Help applicants become "mortgage-ready" by reviewing their initial financial situation
- Available to complete phone application or assist in online application process of perspective clients
- Create and structure a loan program in our LOS of Encompass
- Following up with previously approved clients and keeping them engaged throughout the home offer process through offer acceptance
- Product and program knowledge of Fannie/Freddie, FHA, VA, USDA. Also TSAHC, TDHCA or equivalent DPA programs along with DSCR and non-QM experience.
- Self-starter with attention to detail. Utilizing for file notes/updates/status for sales team being supported
- May need to restructure active files to a different loan program or terms.
- Role requires phone and text communication with clients. Excellent customer service. Able to answer any questions or concerns the client has throughout the process.
- Daily interaction with sales team on updates, hot list tasks or follow-ups.
- Provide the best experience possible from application to close understanding the goal to make a today’s client a lifelong client.
Skills and Qualifications
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple files and compliance requirements.
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and partners. - Mortgage Knowledge: Familiarity with loan products, underwriting, and compliance guidelines.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Encompass and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, USDA, adjustable/ fixed, residential loans, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in mortgage, banking, or customer service.
- NMLS licensure preferred but not required
