We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Bioethics, Policy, and Partnerships in Horsham, PA;
Titusville, NJ; or New Brunswick, NJ.

Purpose

The Director, BPP is a global role responsible for facilitating the successful integration of bio ethically grounded Policies for Johnson & Johnson and/or development and implementation of educational initiatives/programs to serve patients, caregivers, and providers on behalf of OCMO.

Policy Integration will have a focus on strategies for Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO) Policies such as but not including Pre‑Approval Access (PAA) and Post‑Trial Access (PTA), providing counsel to business partners related to the interpretation of the policies and/or facilitating stakeholder involvement as required to support the business.

In all areas of focus, the Director will collaborate closely with groups not limited to Innovative Medicines, Medical Devices, Global Medical Safety, Patient Advocacy Groups, Global Medical Affairs, Global Operations, and Clinical Research and Development. Third‑party collaboration will also be required to ensure a cohesive approach to Policy interpretation and/or educational initiatives. This position reports to Global Head, Policy Integration & Education within BPP.

Further, the role may also support strategic business objectives across the BPP business portfolio and other OCMO related needs as required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead/support the global integration of bio ethically grounded OCMO Policies across Johnson & Johnson.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to support patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
  • Drive strategy and implementation for key OCMO Policies (e.g., Pre‑Approval Access, Post‑Trial Access).
  • Provide expert counsel to business partners on policy interpretation and application; solution oriented problem solving of complex and sensitive matters.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional stakeholder engagement, including Regulatory, Legal, and other internal partners.
  • Collaborate closely with teams including but not limited to Innovative Medicines, Medical Devices, Post‑Approval Delivery Unit (PADU), Global Medical Safety, Regulatory Legal, Global Medical Affairs, and Clinical R&D.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure aligned and cohesive Policy interpretation and educational approaches.
  • Support strategic business objectives across the BPP portfolio and broader OCMO needs as required.
  • Reports to the Global Head, Policy Integration & Education within BPP.
Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
