The Opportunity

As a Medical Scribe, you will work directly alongside physicians during patient visits, documenting medical encounters in real time and supporting efficient clinical operations. This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate medical records, assisting with electronic health record management, and ensuring providers can focus fully on patient care. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the capability to perform well in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

What

You’ll Do (Clinical Documentation)
  • Accompany physicians during patient examinations and document medical histories, physical findings, and provider interactions
  • Record diagnoses, symptoms, treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow‑up instructions as dictated by the physician
  • Document procedures performed during patient visits
Orders & Medical Record Accuracy
  • Transcribe physician orders including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and medications
  • Prepare and manage electronic health records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Workflow & Operational Support
  • Anticipate provider documentation needs during patient visits
  • Assist with maintaining organized, complete patient records
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support clinical operations

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Scribe or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately document patient care and transcribe patient appointments
  • Ability to maintain accuracy of documentation and records
  • Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to handle high‑pressure situations effectively
