Application Support Specialist
The Application Support Specialist supports the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and user support of district technology applications and workflow systems. This position serves as a primary support contact for staff and helps ensure that educational and operational technology systems are reliable, secure, compliant, and user-friendly. The role combines customer service, application administration, workflow management, and operational support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of district technology services.
Provide Tier I and Tier II support for district educational and operational technology applications, including Infinite Campus, Clever, Schoology, Incident IQ, and other district-approved systems.
Troubleshoot application, account access, rostering, synchronization, and user support issues.
Serve as the primary technology support call taker and initial point of contact for technology requests from staff, parents, and community members.
Triage, document, prioritize, and route support requests through the district ticketing system.
Manage and maintain district technology applications, workflows, and related operational systems.
Support and maintain internally developed workflow systems and technology processes.
Assist with application configuration, user account management, and system maintenance activities.
Coordinate with vendors and district staff to resolve application and system-related issues.
Maintain technology support documentation, procedures, and knowledge base resources.
Support and maintain technology-related website content, staff resources, and digital support materials.
Assist with ensuring technology-related web content aligns with accessibility and WCAG compliance standards.
Support district technology compliance efforts, including student data privacy agreements, vendor documentation, and software review processes.
Maintain records and tracking documentation associated with district technology systems and compliance requirements.
Assist with technology projects, system implementations, seasonal operational activities, and other duties as assigned.
Provide professional, timely, and customer-focused support to district staff and stakeholders.
