Overview

The Logistics Coordinator at Myonex is responsible for supporting the clinical trial business of order processing, product importing/exporting, problem solving and representing the Operations Department in critical cross functional department projects. The Logistics Coordinator works with Project Managers, Quality and Warehouse departments to ensure all orders are executed and achieved. This role is hybrid (3 days a week onsite) at our Headquarters in Horsham, PA with working days of Monday - Friday at 8AM - 4:30PM.

Duties
  • Develops proficient subject matter expertise of business systems (Oracle Cloud ERP) within scope of the following modules:
    Project / Contract, Order Management, Inventory, and Reports & Analytics.
  • Manages site distribution mailbox and processes site shipment orders via business system transactions, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Supports monitoring of executed shipments to clinical sites, e.g. courier tracking, acknowledgement of receipt, cold chain product management (Out of Spec temperature excursions) etc.
  • Liaises with qualified transport providers for the appropriate and timely delivery and dispatch of consignments in line with approved procedures.
  • Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with Myonex’s designated brokers.
  • Completion of shipment paperwork needed for customs clearance.
  • Manages and builds a strong working relationship with couriers to ensure they follow Myonex’s business processes, procedures, and requirements.
  • Maintains record keeping of shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Ensures that temperature sensitive products are effectively and efficiently handled throughout the supply chain.
  • Updates inventory management system as appropriate with dispatches, including notes for shipment and delivery.
  • Ability to develop plans and implement short- and long-range department goals.
  • Liaison as primary point of contact to the client’s importer of record.
  • Create and obtain approval for commercial invoices.
  • Schedules of specialty carriers for all shipment types.
  • Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • 4-year degree in science, pharmaceutics, natural sciences or equivalent work experience is required or 2+ years of job-related experience.
  • Previous experience within logistics as an administrator or coordinator preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical devices, pharmaceutical or related industries preferred.
  • Understanding of cGMP guidelines as they apply to the pharmaceutical, medical device, and related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and understand Standard Operating Procedures and process flows.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Intermediate level skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and internet functions
  • Ability to track shipments and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation, incoterms, import/ export compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand Business Procedures and Process Flows
  • Experience working with warehouse data and ERP systems is preferred.
