This role offers the opportunity to shape and lead the supply chain strategy for a growing North American organization while partnering closely with Sofidel Group leadership.
The Vice President of Supply Chain is responsible for defining, coordinating, and leading the Supply Chain organization for Sofidel America. This role ensures continuity of supply, operational efficiency, and alignment with Sofidel Group strategies and values. The VP Supply Chain will provide strategic and operational leadership across planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution in a complex, multi site manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Define and implement the Supply Chain strategy for Sofidel America in alignment with Sofidel Group objectives
- Lead end to end planning and execution of raw materials, production, inventory, and distribution to ensure service levels and product availability
- Own supply chain performance metrics and operating cadence, driving measurable improvement in service, cost, and working capital
- Optimize supply chain costs, working capital, and inventory levels through disciplined planning and execution
- Coordinate and integrate supply chain activities across all manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency of processes and performance
- Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Group Supply Chain to support business results and growth initiatives
- Strengthen supplier strategy and performance management to ensure reliability, continuity of supply, and risk mitigation
- Lead, develop, and engage high performing Supply Chain teams; build organizational capability and succession strength
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes, systems, and organization
- Ensure effective use of ERP systems and supply chain planning tools to support forecasting, scheduling, and execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Supply Chain experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods organizations required
- Strong preference for experience within tissue or paper products manufacturing such as toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, or facial tissues
- Experience in related manufacturing sectors such as food, beverage, packaging, or paperboard and cardboard manufacturing will also be considered
- Solid knowledge of planning, logistics, and industrial supply chain operations
- Demonstrated leadership capability with strong organizational and people management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi site and international environment
- Strong analytical skills with a structured, data driven approach to problem solving
- Proven experience with ERP systems and advanced supply chain planning tools; SAP experience strongly preferred
- Availability to travel approximately one week per month across Sofidel America sites
