What's a typical day as Material Handler? You'll be:
- Picking, staging, and shipping materials for production, service, and global customer deliveries
- Executing and verifying daily SAP transactions for all material movements, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance
- Operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and performing light sub-assembly as needed
- Receiving inbound vendor materials, returns, and special components, and managing discrepancies quickly
- Ensuring priority parts and kits are moved to the right stations or partner sites to prevent delays
- Maintaining warehouse readiness with 5S practices, clean environments, and safety-first standards
- Assisting with cycle counts, inventory audits, and correcting inventory accuracy issues
- Supporting safe transportation and documentation compliance for domestic and international shipments
- Serving as a resource for less experienced handlers during complex staging or rush orders
- Flexing to other operational roles as needed to meet workload demands
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma (required); technical or logistics coursework is preferred
- Bring at least 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or material handling roles
- Are familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems (strongly preferred)
- Can interpret pick lists, BOMs, and documentation related to custom high-value equipment
- Demonstrate an independent, detail-oriented approach to resolving discrepancies
- Have proven competence in safe forklift and material handling practices (certifications a plus)
- Possess strong organizational habits to meet tight shipping and production deadlines
- Can stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Are available for overtime as required
