Machine Operator

Apex is seeking a Machine Operator to join a growing company in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medical devices for coating per customer and quality guidelines
• Measurement conversions required to complete part of this task
• Arrange devices in the machine, monitor device movements throughout the machine process, unload devices and visually inspect for defects
• Create labels and package the final product for shipment
• Assist in resolving equipment issues alongside your team
• Write coating procedures and/or other work instructions
• Record materials used and collect data during the coating process

Skills & Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• 1-2 years' experience preferred in a manufacturing, process development or production environment
• Ability to successfully mix materials, read and understand product specifications and operating procedures for various manufacturing machines
• Ability to measure and inspect products/materials and clearly document all activities
• Capable to conduct performance testing on coated devices
• Ability to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy, often under pressure and/or short deadlines
• Detail oriented, highly organized, capable of completing high quality work
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with co-workers as well as work independently
• Computer literacy with Microsoft package, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
