Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA/QC Manager - Mechanical to join our team. This exciting role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes. The successful candidate will be involved in the continuous improvement of our quality management systems and will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's QA/QC procedures and systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of the company's systems, processes, and products both internally and externally to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with the production team to identify any potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the team in the investigation of customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
  • Collect and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy.
  • Train and guide staff on QA/QC procedures and policies to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Review suppliers purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance.
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Monitor risk management activities.
  • Responsible for document management systems.
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role in the Engineering industry, with a focus on mechanical products.
  • Extensive knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and standards.
  • Proven experience in conducting both internal and external audits.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and how to implement and improve them.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in data analysis and statistical interpretation.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Certifications such as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma preferred.
  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA/QC.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Data collection, management and analysis.
  • Problem analysis and problem solving.
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other industry-specific standards.
