Position: Group Director, Real World Value and Evidence - Immunology

Group Director, Real World Value and Evidence (RWV&E) – Immunology (Horsham, PA)

Purpose:
  • Lead US real-world evidence (RWE) research strategy and execution for the portfolio of in-line and pipeline products in alignment with business partners.
Responsibilities:
  • Formulate key research questions; design and conduct studies; plan and conduct market access analytics; manage publications; ensure compliant communication and dissemination.
  • Integrate RWE/market access scientific support into US business value propositions; lead scientific strategic planning.
  • Align strategies/projects with Strategic Imperatives and the Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP); execute on time.
  • Collaborate with internal/external experts to prioritize and generate rigorous scientific data; develop dissemination plans.
  • Ensure compliance with US regulatory/legal/commercial requirements and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support access; initiate/manage research studies and related projects.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for US-focused value assessments; ensure quality of study design/execution/publications and related models/tools.
  • Develop and manage annual budget; ensure quality of internal/external communications.
  • Travel: up to 20% (mostly national).
Qualifications:
  • Required:

    Master's degree (Public Health, Statistics, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related).
  • Preferred:
    PhD or PharmD with methodological training in health economics study design/application.
  • Minimum 7+ years research experience.
  • Expertise in healthcare/clinical knowledge, reimbursement, economic evaluations or patient-reported outcomes, data analysis/statistics.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, influencing, and communication.
  • Experience with large datasets, survey techniques, mixed models, comparative analyses, advanced statistics/experimental design (GI preferred).
  • Understanding of drug development, regulatory standards for data communication, US healthcare systems/customers, evidence-based medicine/comparative effectiveness, and prior publications.
