Sales Support Representative - Waterworks

Job Overview

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is hiring Sales Support Representatives to help customers, solve problems, and learn the business from the ground up.

• Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
• Ensure the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
• Effectively use the customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
• Provide training and work in the warehouse, pipe yard, and at the sales counter.

• 1‑3 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in Waterworks or Construction a plus.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work.
• Ability to transition between warehouse, yard, counter, and administrative duties as needed.
• Strong sales skills, including ability to upsell.
• Project management abilities to support sales initiatives, coordinate timelines, and ensure follow‑up with clients preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making timely decisions.
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated, customer‑service oriented, building relationships a plus.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and processes quickly.

$20.57 – $32.91 per hour.

Estimated ranges displayed are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles.

This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
