• Perform HVAC control systems troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage controls components.
• Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, along with a variety of hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Provide frontline technical and repair support through effective communication with Johnson Controls customers.
• Offer system repair and update recommendations and assist in proposing solutions to customers.
• Be part of an expanding team of technicians within a first-class global organization.
• Provide customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items, acting as a trusted advisor with on-site solutions and outcomes.

• Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team, responsibly handling system trouble shooting, repair, and aftermarket services for a fast-growing business.
• Demonstrate electrical and electronics troubleshooting experience.
• Load Johnson Controls field and network-level controller software.
• Perform commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers and end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators), and complete all required commissioning documentation.
• Keep management and JCI contractors or customers informed of job progress and issues.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks including timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
• Participate in training to maintain high knowledge and capability levels.
• Engage with customers to understand their systems and needs.
• Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
• Follow all safety standards and maintain a high level of safety for employees and subcontractors.
• Provide recommendations to improve facility efficiency and identify upsell opportunities; provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

• Required:
  
  Vocational school program or an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field, plus three years of industry experience in servicing electrical, electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
• Understanding of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications
• Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields
• Ability to use hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter
• Solid knowledge base in use of personal computers
• Attention to detail and good communication and listening skills

Salary/Hiring Range: $32.69–$44.71 per hour (target). This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation and may be adjusted based on candidate experience and market data.
