Veeco is looking for a Material Handler. This warehouse position involves the timely and accurate reporting of materials movements that transpire daily. The role includes picking, staging and shipping for sales orders, production work orders, and contractor movements; receiving vendor materials and customer returns; issuing materials to Engineering; and participating in periodic physical inventory activities. Pick, pack and ship materials safely and accurately for domestic and international transport.

• Support the Inventory and Warehouse policies and procedures (security, daily processing, fiscal period cutoffs).
• Post inventory transactions daily into SAP following defined procedures.
• Organize, pick, pack, ship and transport material.
• Work with other Operations personnel to support a responsive environment.
• Participate in Warehouse 5S to create a safer, cleaner and more organized environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of material to allow proper assembly.
• Verify documentation to avoid processing errors.
• Perform light assembly work as needed.
• Remain flexible and available to shift into multiple areas of the operation.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools and wash sinks.
• Prioritize safety at all times.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.

• High School diploma and at least 4 years of related experience.

• Computer proficiency with a background in inventory transactions in a computer‑based system.
• Knowledge of inventory controls or SAP in a managed environment.
• Detail orientated and able to work efficiently and organized.
• Capability to accommodate frequent changes in position, including standing, sitting and bending.
• Occasional ladder use and ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

The expected salary range for this position is $37,761–$55,382, plus a bonus opportunity. Pay is determined by location, experience and other factors.
