  • Balance workflows across production support, sales orders, and urgent service requests—prioritizing escalations while maintaining schedule adherence.
  • Oversee domestic and international packing and shipping documentation to meet customer requirements and comply with trade regulations.
  • Drive root cause resolution for material discrepancies and non‑conformance, partnering with Procurement and Quality as needed.
  • Conduct cycle counts and lead investigations on variances; implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Promote Lean practices through 5S and structured problem‑solving; champion continuous improvement projects within warehouse operations.
  • Own safety performance within assigned areas: enforce PPE usage, training compliance, and adherence to Veeco EHS standards.
  • Act as a working supervisor—support day‑to‑day execution while driving team performance metrics and CI goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse and material management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • SAP or comparable ERP system experience required; exposure to mobile‑enabled WMS preferred.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Proven leadership in high‑velocity warehouse functions with complex material flow.
  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills with a bias for action.
  • Ability to coach and build engagement in diverse teams.
