As an accountant at Keith Smith Company, you will gain a broad accounting experience as well as build your business acumen. You will be a part of a team that adds value to the company through analysis and transforming data into information used for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Review accounts receivable & accounts payable transactions

Reconcile accounts receivable & accounts payable aging to control accounts

Customer credit review & analysis

Maintain reporting for AR credit insurance

Prepare monthly sales tax filings

Fulfill auditor requests for the external year end audit

Help develop and prepare cash flow reporting

Prepare other internal and external reporting as needed

Prepare & distribute bi-weekly pricing calculation

Contribute to budget/forecasts

Assist in special projects as required by manager

Work on other similar accounting tasks and responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Preferred Skills/Experience Experienced with Microsoft Excel Driven self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well with others in a team setting

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Experience using Sage Intacct or other ERP System
