Now Hiring Intake Specialist

Location: Hot Springs, AR

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift

Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; healthcare or medical office experience preferred
  • Previous intake, customer service, medical office, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical documentation is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused attitude
Job Duties
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers
  • Receive and process referrals accurately and efficiently
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage information
  • Obtain and review required documentation to ensure complete and accurate orders
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and referral sources to resolve missing information or discrepancies
  • Enter and maintain accurate patient and referral information in company systems
  • Ensure referrals are processed in a timely manner to support prompt order fulfillment
  • Provide professional customer service while answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Maintain organized records and comply with company policies and confidentiality standards
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
