Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a certified and licensed School Psychologist to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in Hot Springs National Park, AR. This contract position offers the chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic school environment, helping to foster student success and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality
