National Park College is seeking an experienced Part-Time Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor. The instructor will support the Electrical Apprenticeship Program by leading evening classes on the National Park College campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide instruction to electrical apprenticeship students as required.
- Commitment to apprentice success in the program.
- Communicate regularly with Apprenticeship Coordinator on progress of students in the program.
- Submit sign in sheets and other documents to Apprenticeship Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of subject matter being taught.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solve effectively.
- Must hold at least a Journeyman’s License.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred.
- Long periods of sitting or standing.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in the evenings.
