P.E. Teacher

St. John's Catholic School is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster a Christ-centered learning environment that encourages teamwork, respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship in accordance with Catholic values and teachings for students in PreK through 8th grade.

• Plan and implement engaging PE lessons aligned with state standards
• Promote physical fitness, motor skills development, and healthy habits
• Supervise students during physical activities and school events
• Maintain a safe and organized gymnasium and outdoor activity areas
• Encourage teamwork, character development, and sportsmanship
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities

• Bachelor’s degree
• PE certification preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
