Overview
Genoa Healthcare is part of Optum and United Health Group. We are a pharmacy care services company focused on serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities, providing medication services and coordinated care with community-based providers to help people with complex health conditions stay on their treatment plans.
We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Schedule and LocationSchedule: Part time, approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to flex up to cover PTO and call outs. Open Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm CT with lunch 12:00 pm–1:00 pm. Manager will work with you on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities- Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
- Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arkansas
- Ability to use your own car to make deliveries when needed
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this role is $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
