Join our Cardiovascular Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cardiologists and a skilled clinical team while using advanced technology to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
How you'll contribute- Our Cath Lab Technician provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Perform technical and supportive patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Assist cardiologists with invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter placement, and intra-aortic balloon pump support.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamics, ECGs, and waveform data while continually assessing and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Prepare, operate, and maintain cath lab equipment; ensure safety standards, quality control, and infection control practices are followed.
- Review patient history, verify orders and identification, provide patient education, and document assessments and procedural details accurately.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities, maintain readiness for call rotation, and support workflow efficiency within the cardiovascular services team.
- Current Arkansas radiation operator License, required
- Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist; CI or RCIS - preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab - preferred
