Maintenance Technician (MT)

The Maintenance Technician (MT) is responsible for performing maintenance on automated production machinery to reduce equipment downtime and meet production schedules. The MT also performs preventive and predictive maintenance as required to ensure equipment availability. The position reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.

• Work in a safe manner and be trained in all appropriate plant safety programs.
• Perform equipment relocations, crating or uncrating of parts, mechanical adjustments and alignments, identify and order spare parts, document all work, clean up before leaving the job, attend relevant training and meetings.
• Participate in projects and upgrades.
• Understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of machining techniques/processes including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding.
• Knowledge of machining techniques/processes including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding, CNC machine setup, programming, and operation.
• Knowledge of mold repair, teardown, assembly, and cleaning. Learn mold shop equipment and mold maintenance methods.

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Technical associate degree (2‑year) preferred.
• Preferred 3 years of applicable experience/demonstrated skill required.
• Required 2 years as a Production Technician or Auxiliary.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams; knowledge of hydraulics preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

• Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, stand and work at two‑hour minimum intervals, and work in tight spaces.
• Position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

Estimated base salary for this position is $46,464 – $69,696 annually. The range reflects anticipated salary and may change based on market data and other factors.
