Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical – Full‑Time, Nights

National Park Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is a 163‑bed hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

As an LPN you will provide compassionate care to patients, assisting with assessments, treatments, and daily living activities. The position offers opportunities for collaboration and delivering high‑quality patient care.

• Contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
• Document patient care provided.
• Assist RN with development of plan of care.
• Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current state LPN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
