Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery

Job Type: PRN, Varied

National Park Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is looking for an experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our surgery unit.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within six months of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
